Play Is The Work Of Children

The Early Birds Program provides a smooth and happy early morning transition to the school day for our children.  Students who need to begin earlier than 8:30am due to family schedules are cared for in a nurturing and individualized way. Faculty makes a sincere effort to get to know each child very well, thereby providing them with specific early morning opportunities that engage and enrich the children on a daily basis through free play, arts and crafts and cooking. Breakfast is offered between 7:00am and 8:00am each day.

Quiet reading transitions the students into listening to a story, playing a game or singing and finger plays. Westbury Friends School is happy to be able to provide this service to our families.
